● Check tire pressure before every trip (including the spare)
● Look for cracks, dry rot, uneven wear, or bulges
● Replace tires every 5–7 years, even if tread looks okay
● Use torque wrench to re-tighten lug nuts before trips
● Repack bearings at least once a year or every 12,000 miles
● Use a high-quality marine-grade grease
● Replace seals if leaking or damaged
● If your trailer has electric brakes, test them regularly
● Inspect brake pads, drums, and wiring for wear or corrosion
